Camino de Santiago

We had a week to sample some of the highlights of the Camino de Santiago. We started in Bilbao, past the Guggenheim Museum, and spent three days on the Camino del Norte. Along the way we saw the tile copy of Picasso’s Guernica in Gernika. From there we spent one day each on the Camino Primitivo, the Camino Francés, and the Camino Finisterre.

On our final day we attended mass in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela with thousands of pilgrims. It was a magical experience, and we are already looking forward to returning.
